My Holistic Journey began back in about 2001 however I ran it alongside my full time profession within a Senior Sales role. So, a teacher of Holistic subjects, along with currently training to be an internal verification assessor. I have also taught on Business Development Workshop Days in the Midlands. I have been a trained, qualified and fully insured Holistic Therapist for 8 years and have been teaching Holistic Therapies for 5 years and the last 2 years in fully accredited Practitioner Level Diplomas.
I much prefer offering these short, intensive courses, where I meet such interesting people and learn so much from them too! I try to give as much information and handy tips that I've learned along my holistic journey and I like to help each student gain a positive outlook for their new chosen career pathway. I believe each person is unique and can achieve their full potential if they look within themselves and trust in their natural instincts to guide them.

Right from the first enquiry, booking the treatment, receiving the treatment and then aftercare advice received was extremely thorough. I found Julie to be a highly professional and skilled practitioner. I came to Julie for advice and treatment for pain radiating from an old joint and skeletal based shoulder injury. Immediately after the first session I found relief in the joint and associated pain. I also found the session to be quite relaxing and calming, the benefit of which was felt for an extended period of time. After my next session with Julie again found I found the pain and stiffness subsided, Julie also offered further advice and rehabilitation exercises which I was able to do between sessions, this extra research on my behalf was very much appreciated, and I have definite plans to continue regular sessions with Julie. Aromatherapy is a treatment based on the use of essential oils to relieve and revive the
body and mind. The oils are pure concentrated oils extracted from plants, herbs and fruits
such as rose, lemon and lavender. Aromatherapy oils are exquisite and deepen the
massage experience.
These oils are diluted in a carrier oil before being applied and are specifically chosen for
each individual treatment. The range of Conditions that can be treated are from infections
and skin disorders to immune deficiencies and stress.
When aromas are detected in the nasal cavity, impressions associated with previous
experiences and emotions are created. Combining this with the fact that the parts of the
brain that control heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress levels and
hormone balance are also related to the nasal cavity, it is evident that the use of essential oils contributes to and achieves many physiological or psychological effects. The benefits of some common oils and their uses include:
• Eucalyptus: for congestion/colds
• Frankincense: for calming emotions and nightmares
• Geranium: for menopausal problems & PMS Lemongrass; for sore or injured muscles
• Lavender: for relaxation
• Peppermint: for quick energy

Colour Therapy is a natural system of healing using the therapeutic energy within the spectrum colours to bring balance to the body, mind and spirit.

Crystal Therapy uses semiprecious and precious stones to enhance mental,
spiritual and physical healing. It is based on the belief that certain crystals and gems possess a powerful energy that can positively affect imbalances in human energy fields and thus promote health and well-being.

During a Crystal Therapy session the patient may lie clothed on a comfortable bed or on a table. Stones of specific colour, pattern, or type can be placed around the body or on specific energy points. Stones may stay on sites of pain for 20 to 40 minutes. When a crystal or stone is held or topically applied, a person is accepting the vibrations that the gem has to offer, either intentionally or unconsciously. The interaction between the vibrations of the crystals and the vibrations of the persons body will trigger a series of responses including creating a spontaneous energy or vibrational flow.

Individual Eyelash Extensions give the wearer a fuller, longer, natural looking extension. The extensions are attached to each individual eyelash and with the excellent black adhesive glue last from 10-12 weeks.
They are durable enough to withstand sleeping, showering, exercise, tears and even waterproof so you don't have to worry about damaging your beautiful extensions. The application takes only 1.5 - 2 hours and is an extremely relaxing experience by an experienced Beauty Eyelash Technican.

After Care
Your lashes are very precious so to keep them in excellent condition and to make sure they last, correct care and maintenance is required.
Do not allow water to contact lashes for the first 2 hours after treatment;
Do not steam face or use a steam bath for 2 days after your treatment;
Do not use waterproof mascara or mascara remover on the lashes as this will affect the bonding. Only use oil-free mascara;
Do not perm the lashes as they are synthetic
Do not use a heated lash curler, this will damage both the lashes and the natural lashes.
Cleanse your lashes with oil-free cleanser.
Maintenance
The life cycle of a natural eye lash is between 60 and 90 days. Once the natural lash has reached the end of its cycle, it will fall out taking the extension with it. To keep your lashes looking full and gorgeous, a top up every three weeks is recommended.
This is a gentle, natural and effective treatment often found to be a soothing, calming and a relaxing experience. This treatment also includes a 15 minutes mini-facial.
